Seat Belt Schemes

Danko solid-wood chairs
Peter Danko Design’s funky ply-bent chairs use surplus seat belts from as far back as the ‘60s to weave webbing much like the strings on a tennis racket. Using design concepts comparable to those used in said rackets not only creates unique silhouettes but also uses far less timber than solid-wood chairs would require. The result: “eco-modernist” bar stools, rocking chairs, and other gems in neutral tones or fab retro colors.
