Handmade in Cebu, Philippines (the designer’s home country) using locally sourced organic materials, Kenneth Cobonpue’s outdoor furniture creations are dramatic, stylized, and highly alternative. Infusing Southeast Asian modern aesthetics with an earthy new persona through the use of natural fibers, his tall-backed, brightly colored rattan vine Yoda chairs celebrate the idea of bold, exciting natural design—an oxymoron until fairly recently.
