Friday Art in Santa Fe

Busy day Friday in Santa Fe. Sometimes the art scene in this town feels like a vacation featuring 21 countries in 5 days. Last Friday was no exception. Thea and I began the evening with a stop at the City of Santa Fe’s new Community gallery in the equally new Conference Center. More than a dozen years in the dreaming stage and several in the planning and execution phase, the gallery presents itself as a space for emerging artists and others. Most of the artists in this first show are not represented in commercial galleries, but some are. See the show for yourself.
